What channel is Chiefs vs. Giants on today? Schedule, time for ‘Monday Night Football’ in Week 8

[ad_1]

The 3-4 Chiefs will meet the 2-5 Giants on “Monday Night Football” this week.

The Chiefs are coming off a blowout loss to the Titans, losing 27-3. Kansas City has been struggling to get in sync this season, even though it has the third-most passing yards in the league with 2,175. The defense, however, has allowed the fifth-most yards to their opponents in the league with 1,930. They’ve also allowed 13 touchdowns.

Additionally, quarterback Patrick Mahomes is tied for the NFL interception with nine as turnovers uncharacteristically pile up. Mahomes left the game last Sunday after a head injury. He cleared concussion protocol and will be available to play again on Monday night.

The Giants, on the other hand, are coming off a 25-3 blowout win over the Panthers in Week 7. Quarterback Daniel Jones caught a 16-yard pass during the game with one hand, making Giants fans nostalgic from Odell Beckham Jr.’s infamous catch in 2014. The Giants have six receiving touchdowns so far this season, with a total of 1,939 passing yards.

All of the Giants starting wide receivers and running back remain out for the Week 8: Saquon Barkley, Kenny Golladay, Sterling Shepard and Kadarius Toney. They all led the Giants’ stats before their injuries.

The Chiefs opened as 9.5-point favorites, according to Draft Kings
