What channel is Giants vs. Raiders on today? Time, TV schedule for NFL Week 9 game

[ad_1]

In an NFC East vs. AFC West matchup, the New York Giants are looking to wreak some standings havoc on the Las Vegas Raiders. The Giants stayed competitive with the ailing Kansas City Chiefs last week, and now they have the West’s leader in the Raiders, who are now 5-2. Since getting shellacked by the Chicago Bears three weeks ago, the Raiders have won their last two, but this game doesn’t come without its own unique challenges.

The Raiders will be without receiver Henry Ruggs III on Sunday, who tragically killed a woman and was arrested for driving impaired. It’s the latest in a series of harrowing off-the-field incidents for the Raiders, who also had then-head coach Jon Gruden resign earlier this season after emails showed misogynistic and racist language sent by Gruden.

For the Raiders, however, life goes on, and that means dealing with a Giants team whose 2-6 record belies a team that hasn’t rolled over for anyone this year, but hasn’t had the talent to keep up either. Three of the Giants’ last four games have come against the Cowboys, the Rams, and the Chiefs, and they put a 25-3 win over the Panthers just two weeks ago. Daniel Jones has strung together some nice games, posting QB Ratings of over 95 in each of the past two weeks after an abysmal showing against the Rams

Derek Carr is coming off of an absurdly efficient game against the Philadelphia Eagles, in which he completed 31 of 34 passes for 323 yards. Carr has 12 touchdowns to five interceptions on the season which, while not far off of his usual pace, has been a part of the best he’s looked since joining Vegas. He’ll look to continue that success against a porous Giants defense that has been susceptible to big quarterback games so far this season.

Here’s what you need to know to watch Raiders vs. Giants this Sunday, including kickoff time, TV channels, and the full Week 9 NFL schedule.
